IntrinsicNet is a computer software and hardware development company that has evolved from the Starkville, Mississippi-based Innovative Broadcast Services (IBS). IBS has provided broadcast engineering and consulting to over 70 radio stations in the Southeast (MS, AL, TN, FL, AR and LA) over the last 25 years. Along with routine maintenance, equipment installation, and consulting, IBS works with stations planning and supervising upgrades, implementing studio and transmitter relocations, running FCC compliance testing and other special projects. IBS’s experience includes: building over seventy studios and twenty C2 or higher transmitting facilities. IBS has built one LPTV station and provides services for several other LPTV stations in Mississippi and Alabama.) Owner, chief engineer and software developer, Olen Booth has been writing customized software for the broadcast industry for almost 20 years. Specializing in data acquisition and control packages, IntrinsicNet is currently marketing products that allow efficient monitoring and control of remotes, studio audio, EAS systems and other ancillary equipment. Plus Sine, My Sine and My Sine Pro are user-friendly computer interfaces for the RFC 1/B Remote Controls from Sine Systems. The Hawk Remote Control is a comprehensive remote package for many broadcast applications, and The Studio Hawk monitors audio and EAS systems. Olen is currently working on a project with the Department of Civil Engineering at Mississippi State University and Purdue University for the asphalt industry.
